Hours

• 16 hours across 4 days per week.
• Minimum of 16 hours, at least 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay depends on age:
  • Ages 16-20: £10.95 per hour
  • Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

About the role

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. This is a permanent part‑time position with a variety of shifts.

As a retail assistant you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Deliver fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
• Enjoy being busy and able to switch between tasks – delivery, till, floor, cleaning, stock rotation.
• Be reliable, as an important part of a small team; coworkers and customers depend on you.
• Some flexibility for shifts when team members are on holiday; rota three weeks in advance.
• Complete an employment verification check if successful.
