The Role

The role ensures that our members receive an amazing dining experience every time by preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, and plating to company standards.

Key Duties

  • Plate food according to company guidelines, ensuring high standards.
  • Ensure mis en place is completed before service.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
  • Attend regular meetings with front and back‑of‑house teams to learn about menu or service changes, specials and daily tastings.
  • Support junior team members (e.g., Cốmmis Chefs) through guidance and collaboration.
  • Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs and variety.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement and teamwork.
  • Support the deep cleaning of the entire kitchen before close.
  • Wrap unused items and store them in the proper area at the end of service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Passion for food, attention to detail and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, proactive and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
  • Must demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.

Pay Range

£16.50—£16.50 GBP
