The Family support worker will be responsible for identifying, organising and implementing interventions to support children and families, be a key member of the safeguarding team and work closely alongside all staff. You will represent the school in professional meetings and be competent in collating and presenting information in a succinct and accurate manner.

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday 8.30-4.30pm
  • Friday 8:30 – 3.30pm

The applicant will have:

  • excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills
  • be fully committed to inclusion and participation for all
  • support families where there are early signs of social, emotional, health, behavioural needs, deprivation or other additional needs
  • experience and qualifications of leading parenting classes
  • experience of working with different agencies to support families
  • work with school and families to improve attendance
  • experience of working within all areas of safeguarding i.e. Child Protection, Child in need and Early Help.
