Counterbalance Forklift Driver – 4 Crew (PR-1513268) Grays, England
Salary: GBP18.23 per hour
We are pleased to be recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift driver on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household brands & personal hygiene products.
The Position: Counterbalance FLT Driver
Shifts: 4 Crew shift pattern (Days: 06:00 to 18:00, Nights: 18:00 to 06:00)
Type: Long term assignment
Location: Grays, West Thurrock, Essex, RM20 4AL
Pay and Benefits: £18.23 per hour inclusive of shift allowance
Responsibilities:
- Movement of loaded pallets from palletization to wrapper / wrapper to floor spots / floor spots to conveyor infeed.
- Movement of empty pallets from rack to floor.
- Working safely and maintaining area standards.
- Using marked pallet spots when placing on the floor.
- Maintaining high levels of awareness for working in a pedestrian interface area.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least two years of experience on a FLT.
- Hold an in-date and RTITB / ITSSAR or AITT accredited licence.
- Able to work long term on the designated shift pattern.
- Energetic, can-do attitude.
- Proactive, confident and self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computing skills.
- Follows instructions and processes.
- Works in a fast paced team environment.
- Self-motivated, initiates and follows tasks through to completion.
