Role Overview:
As a Principal Solution Architect, you will lead and develop the solution architecture practice, serving as the technical authority and strategic link between clients, delivery teams, and leadership. This hybrid role blends principal-level technical expertise with the broad vision of a solution architect, guiding engagements from initial discovery through to successful delivery. You will define architectural standards, establish reference patterns, and create reusable frameworks to accelerate and enhance solution delivery across the business. Your role spans AI-powered product design and multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring our solutions are innovative, scalable, and resilient. As both a strategic leader and hands-on technologist, you will confidently engage with C-suite stakeholders, collaborate with engineering teams, and evaluate cloud-native design patterns across platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Set the vision, standards, and technical direction for the solution architecture practice at Sprint Reply.
- Lead architectural solutioning across client engagements, translating business challenges into scalable, AI-powered, cloud-native architectures.
- Work directly with clients to understand strategic priorities, run discovery workshops, and develop solution proposals that integrate AI, data, and cloud capabilities.
- Ensure architectural integrity and best practices are maintained from proof-of-concept through to production deployment.
- Collaborate closely with delivery managers, engineers, and business analysts to deliver robust, measurable solutions.
- Design event-driven, serverless, and composable architectures across multi-cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Drive the maturity of technical capabilities by embedding reusable patterns, reference architectures, and architecture review processes.
- Mentor engineers and aspiring architects, supporting their professional growth and technical development.
- Serve as a visible technical leader in both client and partner engagements, from pre-sales to post-implementation assurance.
- Represent Sprint Reply as a technical ambassador with partners like Microsoft, AWS, and Google, aligning solution strategies to evolving platform innovations.
About the Candidate:
- 10+ years’ experience in solution or enterprise architecture, with a strong background in AI-powered, cloud-native solutions.
- Deep technical authority with a hands-on, consultative mindset, able to set architectural direction and foresee emerging trends.
- Advanced knowledge of AI and ML technologies, including generative AI, agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, LLM integration, and responsible AI governance.
- Strong multi-cloud expertise with GCP, AWS, and Azure, including serverless, event-driven architectures, IaC, and container orchestration.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end solutioning across complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in regulated and enterprise environments, ensuring solutions meet compliance and security standards.
- Skilled in designing reference architectures and solution accelerators that uplift technical teams and drive architectural maturity.
- Excellent client-facing communication, capable of translating technical complexity into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders and C-suite.
- Able to act as an integrator, aligning business goals, technical platforms, AI capabilities, and delivery teams into cohesive solutions.
