Cadillac Formula 1 Team – Model Shop / Wind Tunnel Technician
Cadillac Formula 1 Team at our Silverstone facility is looking for a dedicated team member to work across the Model Shop and Wind Tunnel environments. In this role, you will manufacture, assemble, and test high-quality components for aerodynamic development and wind tunnel testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture wind tunnel model parts and assemblies to the highest standards while meeting demanding project deadlines.
- Support the Model Shop team in managing workloads and achieving departmental targets.
- Build and maintain complex mechanical assemblies for wind tunnel models.
- Identify technical issues and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Collaborate with Model Design Engineers to improve the efficiency, functionality, and quality of model changes and components.
- Support and maintain Health & Safety standards within the working environment.
- Travel regularly as required to support team activities and testing operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in wind tunnel model preparation and wind tunnel testing.
- Background in model-making within a high-performance motorsport environment.
- Good understanding of mechanical installations and assemblies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- A positive approach and commitment to contributing to an open, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
