Job Title: Part Time Warehouse Operative – Fridays only (11am – 5.30pm) – 6.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £14.00p/h

Location: HMP Wealstun – Thorpe Arch LS23 7AZ

About the Role

This role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Working on the prison wing, distributing orders accurately and on time to each inmate
• Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison
• Compliance to prison rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Current three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates
• The ability to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting
• Good communication at all levels
