Salary Band 2 – £25,185 – £25,583 pa (£16,433 – £16,693 pro‑rata for part‑time).

Working pattern: term time, part‑time. 27.5 hours per week. Permanent contract. Closing date 2 June 2026.

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Cook 2 to join our catering team. You will be responsible for producing outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients and for deputising for Cook 3 during periods of absence.

• Must have NVQ level 2 in Hospitality and Catering or be willing to work towards your NVQ.
• Proven experience in a quality catering environment.
• Excellent people skills, able to develop a team.
• Passion about food and customer service.
• Superb culinary skills.
• High standards and be quality‑driven.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• A ‘Can do’ attitude.
• Must be willing to travel to different schools in Trafford.
