Private Client Director, Fisher Investments

As a Private Client Director with Fisher Investments, you will call high‑net‑worth leads we provide, qualifying and scheduling face‑to‑face appointments. You will meet with prospective clients with the goal of gathering new clients and assets for our firm. This position is highly entrepreneurial and involves warm initial calls and in‑person selling to close business. You will be supported by dedicated portfolio management and client service groups who manage the transition and retention of client relationships, allowing you to focus purely on selling. You will report to the Managing Director.

  • Consistent and quantifiable individual sales success with stock market investors
  • RDR level 4 qualification
  • 5+ years of success selling to high‑net‑worth individuals

Qualifications

  • University graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience

Director of Software Engineering, Capital One

We are looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead a team of 100+ engineers. You’ll be responsible for all the technologists within a series of our ‘outcome teams’, established to drive forward business outcomes. You’ll be an excellent leader of people and communicator, able to switch from executive‑level progress conversations to diving deep into solutions, and contributing to strategic discussions around roadmaps. Qualifications

  • Clear track record of leading large software engineering teams and driving high performance
  • Ability to solve complex people, process and technology challenges
  • High intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
  • Deep dive quickly into different technology options and provide recommendations
  • Excellent critical‑thinking skills and ability to counsel leaders across the business
  • Passionate about recruiting and developing great engineering talent
  • Strong communication skills with ability to adapt and communicate compellingly to any audience
  • Experience with AWS and knowledge of the latest native developments
  • Understanding of the latest cybersecurity trends and their impact on engineering practice
  • Ability to work within enterprise policies/guidelines while customising to fit the UK
  • Comfort reaching pragmatic outcomes between short‑term and long‑term needs
  • Knowledge of UK/US regulatory, consumer lending and technology landscapes (preferred)
