Please note: A valid driving licence, access to a motorised vehicle, and appropriate business insurance are essential.
We have a range of part‑time roles available across both the North and East Reablement Teams, offering a variety of hours and shift patterns.
The Role
Help people regain daily living activities so they can get closer to the life they want to live.
We’re looking for caring, motivated individuals to join our North, East and South Reablement Teams. As a Reablement Support Assistant you’ll play a vital role in helping people regain independence after illness, injury, or a period of reduced mobility. You’ll work with individuals in their own homes or community settings, supporting them to rebuild confidence and skills in everyday tasks. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You might be helping someone prepare a meal, supporting with personal care, encouraging mobility, or administering medication. You’ll follow personalised plans and work closely with other professionals to ensure people receive the right support at the right time. You’ll also promote wellbeing by focusing on nutrition, home safety, and energy efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 2 Apprenticeship in Care or equivalent, or a willingness to train.
- A valid driving licence, access to a motorised vehicle, and business insurance.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/Grade 4 or above).
- Confidence interpreting health and care documentation.
- Awareness of safeguarding and the ability to respond to emergencies.
- A respectful, person‑centred approach that promotes independence.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration, shares knowledge, and works together to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
