IT Field Technician

To be the first point of contact for our colleagues and maintaining a healthy user experience for them.

Hours

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

Salary

£28k to £30k depending on experience

Role

10% office based and 90% field based

Responsibilities

• Installation and replacement of computer and networking equipment.
• Configuration of Windows computer.
• Coordinate the job queue with the IT Helpdesk Team Leader.
• Responsible for the correct registration and classification of incidents and to undertake an immediate effort in order to restore a failed IT service as quickly as possible.
• Take ownership of jobs until completion or escalates where appropriate.
• Work across the London region and be disciplined enough to work independently.

Desirable Experience And Skills

• UK Driving License.
• Experience supporting a large number of small remote offices and 500+ users.
• Excellent communication and task management skills.
• Troubleshooting of Windows 10/11.
• Understanding of Networking principles.
• Troubleshooting of printers / phone systems.
