Customer Team Member – Home Delivery Driver

Location: Ulverston, Priory Road , Ulverston, LA12 9HR

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Availability to be discussed further in interview.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customers’ orders and deliver them to their doorsteps, driving safely and considerately while providing friendly service.
• Work as part of a team to keep things running smoothly, supporting colleagues in store when not on deliveries.
• Serve customers on the till, restock shelves, and assist with daily tasks.
• Carry out vehicle checks and follow safe ways of working.
• Promote Co‑op membership and support the local community through great service.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 points.
• A friendly, helpful approach and a passion for supporting customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive approach to problem solving.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts.
