Job Description
As a Paint Sprayer within the Paint Plant Quality Pre‑Delivery Inspection team, you will ensure internal and external customers receive the highest possible quality for their Building Construction Products (BCP). You will work as part of the Quality and Spray team, utilise lean manufacturing tools and techniques, and operate to defined Takt Times and schedules.
This role offers the opportunity to work Monday to Thursday 16:30 to 02:30 (subject to change).
What You Will Do
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking, as necessary.
- Mix, apply 2K paint systems according to manufacturer specifications and maintain equipment.
- Apply primers and topcoats to achieve a smooth and durable finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch‑ups or corrections.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Champion the 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
What You Can Demonstrate
- Familiarity with the functionality of spray systems.
- Knowledge of different paint types.
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) systems.
- Ability to change equipment, e.g., tips and filters.
- The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and possess a flexible attitude.
- Effective communication skills to interact with various levels of the organisation.
- Willingness to undertake training and learning as required.
- Prepared to work a multi‑shift pattern.
Top Candidates Will Have
- Paint Sprayer (PDI) experience.

Job Details
Job Title: Paint Sprayer (afternoons)
Salary: Starting £28,969 rising to £30,450 + 20% shift premium (based on role triggers)
Contract: Permanent
