Overview
As an Electrical Technician with a global heavy industrial manufacturer, you will be responsible for the execution of reactive and PPM maintenance across all aspects of the process, building and site systems. This challenging role requires an Electrical Technician with a recognised apprenticeship who has extensive experience gained within heavy industrial environments. This is an exciting company that is leading the way in sustainable packaging, operating 560 sites globally and is on a journey to update its site in North Birmingham with multimillion pounds of Capex planned. You will enjoy working in a rewarding role that challenges you technically and being part of a team that will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out fault finding, planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance activities on all electrical machinery & systems.
- Delivering services within a safety critical environment.
- Execution of planned and unplanned shutdown activities.
- Working with a safe system of work in a permit to work highly regulated environment.
- Working with and supporting external maintenance service providers.
Profile
- NVQ (level 3 preferred)/HNC/HND with significant experience gained in heavy industry.
- Proven maintenance experience within a complex operational environment (Oil & Gas, Recycling, Sewage Works, Cement, Petrochemical and Heavy Industrial Process).
- Knowledge of SAP (desirable).
