Activities Volunteer

Overview

Voluntary BasisChapel Ash, WolverhamptonPart-TimeWe are looking for an Activities Volunteer to run activity sessions for the people we support at our supported living service in Chapel Ash. This role is for a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Consult people we support to plan engaging activities/events in line with their interests
• Prepare for activities including set-up, moving tables and chairs if necessary
• Lead activity sessions, engaging with people we support
• Tidy up after activities, returning the room to normal
• Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members
• Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
• Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided

Hours

Thursday afternoons preferred
