Temporary Cover Cleaner

Position

Solo Service Group is recruiting a Temporary Cover Cleaner to join our team on a part‑time, temporary basis at Waterstones Leeds, Albion Street, Leeds, LS1 5AP.

Details

Duration: 26/05/26 – 30/05/26.

Hours: 15 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday, 08:30 – 11:30).

Pay: £12.71 per hour.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the bookstore over the weekends; cover full‑time cleaner for holidays and sickness.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
• Cleaning experience preferred; full training will be provided if necessary.
