Overview of Role
The Plumber will be responsible for delivering responsive maintenance, repairs, and installations in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and cost‑effectively while delivering a first‑class service to our customers. This role will provide a plumbing service for primarily domestic but potentially commercial and industrial buildings, ensuring safety guidelines are followed and complying with all relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to our customers
- Heating fault finding repairs, replacements and servicing
- Perform replacements, servicing, and installation of sanitary ware
- Follow instructions to meet client needs
- Maintain the highest levels of health and safety, using appropriate safety equipment
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of relevant site‑based or company documentation (electronically or paper‑based) as required by the contract
Essential Criteria
- A full driving licence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Knowledge of domestic plumbing systems
- Time‑served or appropriately qualified with demonstrable relevant experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience, post‑apprenticeship
- Gas Safe registration
- A valid CSR card
- Confident, reliable, flexible, and adaptable
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Commercial experience
- Full uniform
