Driver Hire Preston is currently recruiting dependable and professional HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for immediate starts across Preston, Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Chorley, Southport, Blackpool and surrounding areas.
We are working with a range of well-established clients throughout Preston, Blackpool, Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Chorley and Southport, offering a variety of ongoing driving work including trunking, depot‑to‑depot deliveries, collections and commercial warehouse deliveries.
Whether you’re an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver or a newly qualified Cat C Driver looking to gain experience, we want to hear from you.

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties
- Depot‑to‑depot trunking
- Commercial deliveries and collections
- Completing daily vehicle walk‑round checks
- Reporting defects and damage
- Following tachograph and driver hours regulations
- Providing a professional and reliable service
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 8 licence points
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Immediate availability
