Position

Part‑time Senior Support Worker – £13.92 per hour.

Shift times: 21 hours per week. Shift patterns: 07:30‑15:00 and 14:45‑22:15.

Overview

The Senior Support Worker at Orchard House, Withington, supports the Team Leader and manages medication, ensuring the highest standard of care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Leader and manage medication.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and health care professionals.
• Keep the Line Manager informed of residents’ needs and progress.
• Write care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient, and organised care to older adults in residential settings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexible, patient, caring and organised.
• Completed or working towards a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Ability to follow guidelines and work as part of a team.
