Murphy is a leading international engineering and construction company. We specialise in a variety of sectors including infrastructure, transportation, and energy.

What your day will look like:

Maintain and repair to a high standard various items of plant including but not limited to:

  • Excavators from 1.5t to 36t
  • Dumpers from 2t to 30t
  • Rollers from trench to 13t
  • Lighting towers
  • Tractors
  • Smaller items such as towable compressors and pressure washers
  • Generators from 20kva to 100kva
  • Towable and Static welfare units and much more

You will be expected to:

  • Conduct periodic inspections, servicing and maintenance to a high standard in line with manufacturers specifications and recording information digitally including photographic evidence.
  • Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair of faults.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop.

What we need from you:

  • Knowledge that you have acquired through experience
  • Education to NVQ2 or 3 equivalent – Desirable not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commitment to carry out in house Murphy training requirements
