The Opportunity
Alecto Recruitment are searching for a Workshop Plant Fitter (also suitable for: Plant Engineer, Heavy Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Fitter, Construction Plant Technician, Service Engineer) to join a highly respected plant hire & equipment specialist based in Rugby.
You’ll primarily be workshop‑based, with the occasional mobile job when needed. Perfect if you like variety but prefer not to live out of your van.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll service, repair, and maintain a wide range of construction plant, including:
- Diggers & Excavators
- Dumpers & Rollers
- Small Plant & Light Construction Machinery
This is a role for someone who loves problem‑solving, fault‑finding, and keeping machines running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
If you have experience in any of the following, we want to hear from you:
- HGV, agricultural or forklift engineering
- Workshop or field‑based mechanical repair
Whether you’re a seasoned Plant Fitter or a skilled Mechanic looking to step into the plant world, your experience is valued here.
