Job Description:

Benugo is seeking a Chef De Partie to join the team at the Guards Polo Club. In this role you will act as an ambassador for the Benugo brand, supporting the Sous/Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the venue and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food to a high standard across required areas.
  • Assist with extra functions and maintain service standards during functions and dining services.
  • Manage client dining, staff restaurant, hospitality and conference food offers when requested.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
  • Ensure smooth running of daily operations, including hygiene and personal health checks.
  • Control waste and maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Comply with all health, safety, fire, security and licence regulations.
  • Perform any other reasonable requests from Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent standards and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant is desirable.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and mentoring abilities.

Working Hours

Full time – hours per week as required by the venue.
