Accommodation Support Officer

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for dedicated Accommodation Support Officers to support individuals with their housing needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans.
• Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need.
• Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using the case management system.
• Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Support participants to overcome housing challenges and understand their rights and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care, mental health, education, criminal justice, or as a recent graduate.
• Person‑centred approach and transferable skills.
• Effective communication and ability to engage diverse backgrounds.
• Resilient, adaptable, and a positive role model.
• Experience or willingness to work with adult males in custody and collaborate with Probation Practitioners.

Benefits and Compensation

Salary: Competitive pay ranging from £25,877 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
