About The Role

Join our dedicated team at OCC as an Assistant Team Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring that children, young people and families in need of help and protection receive timely, high quality assessments and support. • Ensure all relevant County policies and procedures are followed and concerns are raised appropriately.
  • Oversee the effective management of the team’s budget.

About You

  • Option to buy additional holiday.
  • Access to a Local Government Pension Scheme with employer contributions of up to 19.9% of your salary.
  • A range of local and national retail discounts.
  • Enhanced family‑friendly policies including carers leave and paid time off for volunteering.

Commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

At Oxfordshire County Council we are proud of our diverse workforce. Everyone is accepted for who they are, regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or whether they are on maternity or family leave.

Guaranteed Interview Schemes

  • As a Disability Confident employer, we guarantee an interview for disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria.
  • We guarantee interviews to care leavers who have completed further education and meet the essential criteria.
  • We guarantee an interview for the apprenticeships of care leavers who have not completed further education.
