Interfaith Student Chaplaincy Assistant (CC13708) – Bath, BA2 7AY

This vacancy is open for University of Bath students only

The Chaplaincy Centre is located at the heart of the University of Bath campus. 

The Coordinating Faith Leader and team offer support, care, space and prayer to anyone in the university community. As an interfaith Chaplaincy we are keen to develop and foster good relationships across faith societies on campus to enable conversation, dialogue and learning. 

Whilst working with the Chaplaincy team, you will:

  • assist and help foster a working relationship between the Chaplaincy Centre and different faith groups, together with welcoming students of all faiths and none;
  • support the delivery of a weekly interfaith drop-in event, which will be held during term time with the help of the Chaplaincy team and Coordinating Faith Leader; and,
  • assist with the promotion of our chaplaincy and interfaith dialogue aims to the student body.

We are looking for a student who:

  • can organise their own workload;
  • can foster and maintain relationships across faith societies; and,
  • is committed to the aims of the interfaith chaplaincy and is comfortable working in an inclusive and interfaith environment.

This is a part-time role, working 4 hours per week for a fixed-term period from September 2026 until May 2027.
