About the Role
As a Technology Engineer you will be part of the Connect Plus Services Technology Maintenance Team, responsible for maintaining and improving the technology assets in Area 5.
Based at Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms with travel to sites across the M25 network.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to ‘Zero Harm’ safety process at all times.
- Provide a customer focused, service and commercial approach to work.
- Ensure systems are maintained and repaired within contractual requirements through efficient and effective working.
- Ensure NH Service Now data is captured and entered correctly and all data accurate.
- Attend faults, knockdowns etc. and carry out reactive maintenance including the reinstatement of sites, cable and equipment damaged by others.
- Carry out fault/failure rectification and maintenance duties, included within the shift/on‑call rota and/or out of hours maintenance within the contract response times.
- Ensure that all faults are repaired within contract timescales.
- Ensure all planned maintenance is carried out within contract timescales.
- Manage employer’s stores, ensuring all stock is booked in and out.
- Ensure that the communications infrastructure is being maintained to standard.
- Record and report any health and safety concerns to your line manager ASAP.
- Manage time and vehicle efficiently whilst on the network.
Qualifications
- Recognised Electronic or Technology qualifications or apprenticeship.
- IT literate.
- Card holder or training in MEWPS, NHSS8 Certification or Traffic Management.
- Experience with confined spaces.
- CSCS Safety Card.
