Technical Commercial Manager

We’re currently recruiting for a Technical Commercial Manager – Heavy Lift Engineering to join a leading organisation based in Teesside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical engineering background and hands‑on experience to play a key role in delivering innovative logistics solutions for out‑of‑gauge cargo movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development, marketing & delivery of engineering‑led logistics solutions
• Prepare technical & commercial tender documentation
• Work with Key Accounts & Global Tendering teams
• Review client drawings & specifications
• Design end‑to‑end heavy lift logistics solutions
• Ensure HSE & regulatory compliance
• Manage subcontractors on‑site
• Present technical concepts & cost breakdowns
• Act as client interface pre & post award

What We’re Looking For

• Degree / HND / HNC in Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in engineering/commercial roles
• Hands‑on engineering background
• Heavy lift / logistics experience (desirable)

Skills Required

• AutoCAD (desirable) + Microsoft Office
• Strong technical writing & reporting
• Excellent communication & presentation
• Ability to interpret complex technical data
• Comfortable working with global teams

The Package

• Full‑time (40 hours, Mon-Fri)
• Based in Teesside (with travel)
• £63,000 salary (DOE)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidaysHealthcare (after probation)
• Discretionary bonus
