Location: London (primarily office-based, with occasional flexibility for home working)

Working Pattern: Full-time. Flexible arrangements may be considered, including shorter working days across 4 or 5 days per week.

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to support the day to day running of a busy HR function within a dynamic and growing professional services and luxury lifestyle organisation.

This is a varied administrative role that would suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and an interest in developing a career within Human Resources. Some previous HR exposure would be beneficial, although candidates with strong administrative experience and a genuine interest in HR will also be considered.

Working closely with the Head of HR Operations and wider HR team, you will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee records, HR systems and trackers accurately
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Prepare contracts, HR letters and other employment documentation
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings and diary scheduling
  • Take meeting notes and circulate actions where required
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Produce HR reports and maintain spreadsheets and data records
  • Track probation reviews, visa expiry dates and training records
  • Support recruitment administration and candidate coordination
  • Maintain HR templates, files and process documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Assist with employee relations administration, including absence, probation, conduct and performance matters
  • Support the preparation of meeting notes, outcome letters and case trackers

Experience:

  • Previous administration experience, preferably within an HR environment
  • Some exposure to HR processes and practices, either through work experience, education or training
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working with systems, spreadsheets and data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • A reliable, calm and professional approach
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using an HR system (HRIS) would be advantageous
  • An understanding of employee relations processes would be beneficial but is not essential
