Job Description
- Accountable for end-to-end store operations, ensuring resources meet high standards
- Identify, develop, and mentor talent within the store and region to create a pipeline of successors
- Ensure supplies are used efficiently to prevent wastage and stay within budget
- Develop the management team’s capabilities through accountability and targeted development plans
- Oversee purchasing and financial account preparation
- Collaborate with the People Manager to foster a culture adaptable to change
- Ensure compliance with food safety laws and legal standards
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
- Support managers in creating forward-thinking action plans to improve performance
- Contribute to the store’s annual plan by identifying opportunities to maximize performance
- Develop local initiatives within the framework to exceed sales targets and motivate staff
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement
- Lead by example to uphold high standards and customer focus
- Oversee store processes affecting product availability and improve customer experience through team feedback
