About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join a major infrastructure / non infrastructure program. This position involves delivering high-quality civil design solutions for complex projects in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce design deliverables that meet safety and quality standards.
- Prepare civil design calculations and drawings for infrastructure projects.
- Mentor and guide CAD technicians.
- Develop design risk assessments, reports, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant technical and industry standards.
- Manage design changes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with estimating design package hours.
- Attend and present at technical meetings.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ design experience in a regulated infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations and profile preparation.
- Experience with clean water and wastewater systems.
- Skilled in infra and non-infra designs (outline and detailed).
- Awareness of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of Engineering Drawing Practices.
