Our Small Modular Reactor programme provides a uniquely British solution to the global energy challenge, positioning us to become a world leader in SMR technology and a premier UK green export.We’re looking for an **ERP Solution Architect** to support our expanding portfolio of enterprise systems activity, reporting to the Solution Delivery Project Manager and working closely with our Lead Solution Architect. This is a critical role shaping SAP S/4HANA‐aligned solutions that ensure our ERP capabilities are scalable, secure and future‐ready.The ERP Solution Architect holds architectural accountability for ERP target state design, including core SAP S/4HANA and its integration with other enterprise systems and business critical applications.While working closely with delivery teams, this role retains clear ownership of architectural decisions, design principles and technical direction, rather than day to day delivery management.The ERP Solution Architect is responsible for contributing to ERP design governance, defining ERP architecture standards, and supporting technical risk assessment and escalation for ERP related change.This role works alongside other Solution Architects, with scope and responsibilities clearly defined to ensure alignment across the wider enterprise architecture function.We need you to:* Lead the design of ERP solutions centred on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs* Guide delivery teams across the lifecycle, supporting integration, configuration, testing and deployment of ERP components* Apply architectural governance, standards and security policies to all ERP designs and change activity* Build effective relationships with technical teams, functional leads and external partners to support successful ERP deliveryAs this is a key role within our enterprise systems landscape, you’ll bring a collaborative, solution‐focused mindset, strong analytical thinking and first‐class communication skills, as well as:* A recognised architecture qualification (e.g., TOGAF, BCS) or equivalent ERP architecture experience* We’ll ask about your experience designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions across end‐to‐end business processes* Strong understanding of ERP integration patterns, cloud‐based SaaS models and multi‐system enterprise landscapes* The ability to provide architectural assurance, influence technical decisions and support delivery teams across complex programmes* BPSS security clearance (or ability to obtain it)We anticipate a salary of £58,250.00 – £76,450.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring.We also offer excellent benefits including:* Bonus – Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%* Benefits Allowance – £2200, enabling you to create a bespoke package* Pension – 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.* Holidays – 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days* Private Medical Insurance – BUPA single cover health care* Life Assurance – 6x pensionable pay* £250 – One-off payment for new starters for home office purchasesYou’ll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that values transparency, fairness, and innovation.
