We’re recruiting a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical system design for advanced machinery and automation projects. This is a senior role with responsibility for design leadership, architecture, safety compliance, and mentoring a small team.

Key Responsibilities– Lead the electrical design of complex machinery and automated systems.– Own system architecture, design decisions, and technical direction.– Run design reviews and ensure high engineering standards.– Ensure designs meet required safety standards, such as ISO 12100, ISO 13849, EN 60204, BS EN 61010)– Provide technical mentoring and support to junior and mid‑level engineers.– Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems teams.– mprove design processes, documentation, and best practice.

Skills & Experience– Strong background in electrical design for machinery or automation.– Proven experience designing to ISO 12100, ISO 13849, EN 60204, BS EN 61010.– Ability to lead architecture, design reviews, and technical decision‑making.– Experience mentoring or guiding engineers.– Proficient with electrical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).– Strong understanding of functional safety and machinery safety requirements.– Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
