Role Overview

The Lexcel-accredited Legal Team provides legal advice, assistance and support to Council officers, elected members and external clients at all levels, supporting the safeguarding of vulnerable residents.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and assistance related to safeguarding, coordinate with council officers and elected members, and support vulnerable residents through legal guidance.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
• Legal experience in safeguarding or related areas (preferred).

Working Pattern

Hybrid working pattern with two days in the Telford office (Wednesdays and Thursdays); the remaining days can be remote.
