Corporate M&A Associate Solicitor

Our client is a mid-sized U.S. law firm which is seeking an Associate with 1–3 years’ post‑qualification experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team in London. The role offers exposure to a broad range of high‑value corporate transactions and the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of corporate matters, including:

• Acquisitions and disposals
• Corporate restructurings and recapitalisations
• Strategic partnerships and joint ventures
• Cross‑border transactions and auctions
• Takeovers and equity capital markets transactions
• Private equity and venture capital investments

This position provides meaningful responsibility from the outset, strong partner access, and the chance to develop within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• 1–3 years’ PQE in mergers & acquisitions
• Admission as a solicitor in England & Wales, or the ability to practise without sponsorship
• Excellent drafting, organisational and project‑management skills
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to high‑quality work
• Experience gained in an international law firm
