We’re currently supporting the search for a Part-Time Head of 2nd Line Risk & Compliance to join a highly respected UK asset management business based in London.
This is a senior SMF16 & SMF17 leadership role, reporting directly into the Managing Director of Asset Management, with responsibility for overseeing compliance and non-financial risk across the investment business.
The role offers a rare opportunity to operate as a genuine strategic partner to the business within a mature, institutional investment environment.
Key areas of focus include:
• Second line oversight and challenge across the investment business
• FCA regulatory engagement and SMF accountability
• Enterprise risk management and governance
• Oversight of non-financial risk frameworks
• Board and executive reporting
• Partnering with global compliance stakeholders
• Embedding strong risk culture and governance practices
We’re keen to speak with experienced senior risk/compliance leaders from the asset management sector who bring:
• Strong FCA-regulated environment experience
• Proven second line leadership capability
• Deep understanding of investment management risk & compliance
• Experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level
• Strong stakeholder management skills and executive presence
The position is offered on a flexible part-time basis (3–4 days per week) and is based in London.
This is likely to suit an experienced Head of Risk, Head of Compliance, Deputy CRO or senior SMF-approved leader seeking a high-quality, strategically important mandate within a well-established investment organisation.
