The Royal Sutton School are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and forward‑thinking Teacher of Science to join their committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and motivate students, delivering high‑quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners




• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies




• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement




• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives




• Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life




• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders

What you need to succeed:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it




• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching




• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills




• Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student progress




• Embraces continuous professional development and reflective practice
