Join us as we gear up for a period of huge growth, with new and innovative projects transforming the way we work, whilst staying true to our purpose; to bring social and environmental prosperity to the region we serve.You’ll get the opportunity to gain valuable skills, qualifications and experience, while being part of a company dedicated to building a sustainable future.**Key responsibilities:**You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.This includes:* Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment* Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions* Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams* Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues* React to technical issues to maintain water supply* Level 3 electrical qualification AND* Completed an electrical apprenticeship* Strong health & safety focus* Industrial electrical experience* Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessaryAs well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.**As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:*** Personal private health care* Generous double match pension – contribute 7% and Anglian Water will contribute 14%, giving a total contribution of 21%* 24-hour Virtual GP service for you and your household* 26 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy more* Life assurance (up to 8 x salary)* Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)* Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave.
