Food Production Operative

Job Overview

Kinetic Industrial is looking for Food Production Operatives to work for a food manufacturer based in Old Trafford / Stretford. We have positions available for suitable candidates who are keen, eager, and want to work.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 3‑shift pattern with flexibility; must be able to work all three shifts.
• Quality control at all stages of the production process.
• Clean all work areas using various products and equipment.
• Operate on a fast‑moving line, completing tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Pack products into boxes as required.
• Ensure all work is performed to a very high standard.
• Inspect produce for damage or tampering and report where necessary.
• Complete manual handling tasks, including lifting bags and boxes of product.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks such as cleaning and sweeping as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a distinct advantage.
• Physically fit, able to handle repetitive lifting and stand for long periods.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Excellent personal hygiene standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible to carry out all shift patterns and cover when required.
• Ability to attend every shift on time with a positive attitude.

Hours & Pay

• Day shifts: £12.71 per hour.
• Night shifts: £14.26 per hour.
• Shifts run Monday – Friday.
• Shift patterns: 05:50am – 01:50pm, 01:50pm – 09:50pm, 09:50pm – 05:50am.
