Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
– Provide technical authority in mechanical engineering to projects, drawing on your extensive experience from design consultancy, manufacturing, or operational site engineering.
– Join and lead multidiscipline project teams, guiding other mechanical engineers and designers while coordinating with piping, structural, and civil engineering specialists.
– Take responsibility for the successful outcome of assigned projects.
– Maintain and develop knowledge in the technologies of various business sectors.
– Actively participate in design reviews, attend client works, and build professional relationships.
– Deliver mechanical engineering work packages to contracted specifications.
– Suggest, justify, and implement improvements and creative solutions for technical problems.
– Consult with other engineers and experts regarding unusual or complex challenges.
Requirements
– Engineering Degree.
– Working towards or have Chartered Membership of a recognised institution.
– Strong customer focus.
– Aptitude for understanding new processes and technologies, and applying engineering knowledge.
– Analytical ability with keen attention to detail; strong problem identification, assessment, and solving skills.
– Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, or Biotechnology sectors.
– Proven experience in leading teams of engineers and designers.
– Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
– Good IT skills.
