Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm

Role

We are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a specialist provision in the Chorley area.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Willing to support students with SEND and SEMH needs
• Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay and apply for one
• Reliable, patient, and resilient approach
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Willing to attend a registration interview
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
