Role
We are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a specialist provision in the Chorley area.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Willing to support students with SEND and SEMH needs
- Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay and apply for one
- Reliable, patient, and resilient approach
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Willing to attend a registration interview
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
