TEACHER/COURSE LEADER OF A-LEVEL RELIGIOUS STUDIES (FULL OR PART TIME) – REF 26039 7R1

Up to £51,691 p.a., plus Band 1 Responsibility Allowance for Course Leadership – £1,226 p.a.

We are seeking an outstanding Course Leader of A level Religious Studies to join our School of Humanities. To be successful in this role, you will need have a genuine enthusiasm for the study of religion, philosophy and ethics and have a strong drive to help all Religious Studies students achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will lead and teach across Religious Studies, be highly organised and efficient in your approach and will work effectively as part of a team to deliver an exceptional student experience.

We currently deliver the AQA A-level Religious Studies specification, with Christianity being our Component 2 option. Familiarity with teaching Christianity, Philosophy of Religion and Ethics would therefore be strongly advantageous.

A willingness and ability to help deliver the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) would also be advantageous.
