Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Contract: Full-time (35.75 hours) and fixed-term (1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027), with possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
Location: Brookhurst Primary School, Royal Leamington Spa.
Reports to: Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO.
Salary: In line with local authority HLTA scale, Band I.
Overview: This role offers an opportunity to support high-quality teaching and learning, extending impact across the school, leading learning in classes, delivering targeted interventions, and contributing to raising standards.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers and senior leaders in delivering excellent provision for all pupils.
- Lead learning in classes and deliver targeted interventions.
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and support consistency across the school.
- Take initiative in classroom and school activities.
- Contribute to raising standards and improving outcomes.
