Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer required to support delivery of control system design and integration across engineering projects.

• PLC Logic/Allan Bradley
• HMI / SCADA systems
• AutoCAD Electrical
• MS Visio
• Electrical design & schematics
• Industrial communications / networks

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems
• Produce technical documentation (FDS, schematics, load schedules, control philosophies)
• Support project delivery from proposal to commissioning
• Prepare RFQs and review supplier quotations
• Manage electrical/control aspects of projects and liaise with suppliers
• Support FAT testing and system integration
• Troubleshoot control systems and network issues
• Provide technical support to engineers and clients

Requirements

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience with electrical control systems and integration
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEE/IEC – desirable)
