Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3) – Hands-On Learning

Role

To support the team in delivering high-quality care and learning opportunities, while completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification for 12 months and 1 day. The role combines hands‑on experience with structured training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering play‑based learning activities.
• Support children’s personal, social, emotional and physical development.
• Help with daily routines including meals, toileting and sleep times.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Follow all safeguarding, EYFS and health & safety procedures.
• Attend training sessions, submit coursework and engage with assessor visits.

Requirements

• Passion and genuine interest in working with young children.
• Willingness to learn, reflect and grow professionally.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Right to work in the UK.
