Supported Living Support Worker

Support Worker – Autism/Asperger’s

Provide support and companionship to a 53‑year‑old male with Autism/Asperger’s living in his own beautiful home in the Knutsford area. No personal care responsibilities.

Working hours: 42 hrs including sleeps; 10am to 10am two days later; 2 on 6 off rolling rota.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Client with his Autism/Asperger’s needs.
• Promoting and supporting personal interests.
• Assisting with medication.
• Arranging social activities in the home and in the local community.
• Promoting independence and helping the Client to live their best life.

Ideal Candidate

• Male or Female.
• Previous work or personal experience of supporting individuals with mental health and autism is preferred but not essential.
• Natural sense of empathy and good common sense.
• Easy‑going personality and good sense of humour.
• Good organisational skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
