WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENSE
Pay Rate: £26,649.63 (£24,869.63 basic + £1,780 shift allowance). Also potential to earn annual bonus of £1,300.
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time). Shift patterns: Rotational day shift pattern 0600-1400 / 1000-1800 hours.
Location: Warrington – WA4 4SN.
This role has an out-of-hours “on call rota” – one week in every four. An extra payment of £157.50 is paid for each week you are on call, plus additional payments made if you are called out to site.
Note: A drug & alcohol screen will be part of the recruitment process for this role. Counterbalance FLT license is essential.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Undertake manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
- Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and preparing them for shipment.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures.
- Counterbalance FLT license is essential.
- Fleet experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Own transport.
