Position: Science Teacher

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Farnham, Surrey

Contract Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Salary: 34,398 to 52,490 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well‑structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Science while developing students’ analytical and investigative skills
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice within the Science department
  • Support practical learning through well‑organised laboratory activities and experiments

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Effective classroom management and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • A passion for inspiring young people and contributing positively to school culture
