Various permanent contracts, working days and nights shifts, hours per week based on role.

Salary

Support Worker £25,185 (based on 37 hrs); Senior Support Worker £31,537 – £33,699 (based on 37 hrs).

Overview

Greenhill Lodge is an exciting new unit. We aim to provide person‑centred, dignified care to individuals with complex needs, supporting independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex learning disabilities, physical needs, mental health, autism and other related needs.
  • Follow health action plans, eating/drinking plans, behaviour management plans, epilepsy plans and risk assessments.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, emotional, psychological, practical and social support to meet chosen outcomes.
  • Support safe moving and handling, including use of wheelchairs or walking aids.
  • Encourage participation in meaningful activities and community engagement to promote social inclusion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience supporting people with care and support needs.
  • Understanding of the rights of people with learning disabilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • IT skills and good recording skills; computer skills an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically, with a sense of humour.
  • Excellent team player with initiative.
