You’ll be working across a diverse range of products and materials including mild steel, sheet metal, with ongoing training available
The Role:
As a Welder Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components
- Fabricating and welding mild steel, and carbon steel
- MIG welding
- Operating fabrication machinery such as guillotines, plasma cutters, and rollers
- Assembling and tacking fabricated parts including frames, enclosures and assemblies
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards in the workshop
About You:
- Experienced in MIG welding
- Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
- Strong fabrication skills across sheet metal and pipework
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Committed to producing high‑quality work to tight tolerances
