Kitchen Technician
Hours: 33 hours (Monday to Sunday)
Location: Churchill House, Ludlow, SY8 1EL
Our team at Churchill House are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Technician to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Technician, you will take an active role in supporting the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to both Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Cleaning all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment
- Assist in preparation of meals for service
- Prepare food and ingredients for service
Desired Skills and Experience
We provide support for your role as Kitchen Technician from our friendly team. Previous experience within a health care setting is not essential; however, may prepare you better for the role.
